I like mine since it reminds me of the first VHS tapes my house got when I was around 10years old. We watched Robocop, Terminator and Naked Gun. So there is a kinda nostalgia to it. I also remember the Robocop posters around london at the time "Half Man, Half Robot, All Cop"

My favourite would probably be the one with the guy reaching for the girl's arse, he then notices the words written on the back of his hand "Don't Touch The Girls!". Who was that?

I give re: cursive's avatar my vote. It is certainly the strangest.

It's the one where a person is wearing a chicken head with huge bat-like wings, flapping them (or perhaps dancing??) in front of a stolid, hollow looking child mannequin.
WTF is THAT about?????

A psychologists nightmare that one!

Agreed... if your avatar is over-sized, it's automatically disqualified from being the `best'.

I like Qinella's avatar, but I can't really explain why I like it. In the "I have a theme and I'm gonna stick with it" category, I vote for Kermo. In the "Best DIY" category, I vote for Gang Ah Jee's, "Ho-Down". In the "Best Animated" category, I vote for SarcasmKills (also nominated in the "Most Disturbing Category").

Eh, yeah, the way the guy is postioned just cracks me up, its like he is running as fast as he can to nail the little bugger. Springing a elaborate trap or something. I have visions of him hiding behind mountians of snow, slowly creeping up, then hoping out and yelling AIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE at the cute little seal.

Then crushing it with a club.

the dancing guy in a bear suit is wicked too.

I'll start up a proper poll in a few days, and narrow it down to the best ten or so. Vote for who you think should be top-ten, if you want. you can only vote for yourself once, and your socks get one vote each too.

Winner gets a large bottle of warm Dave's Brand Bile-Flavored Soju.

Keep the suggestions rollin in please!

If anybody else jumps the gun on my poll, I will get my russian and nigerian friends to spam you to death.

I resent that. I only look every time to see if the caption has changed.

Also, I check the picture carefully to discern whether perhaps, this time, she may be in any way different from the last time.

Hmm, well, I have to say, if that's an animated .gif, it sure is taking a long time to move.
