I'm curious to know what I'll be expected to do at public school orientation. Any mock teaching to other foreigners?

It's just an orientation probably shouldn't stress it. They'll tell you about the program, chain of command, pitfalls and perils in teaching in public schools. You'll probably have some presentation about the 4 seasons and kimchi.

Often there is none. Korea has four seasons. Do you like kimchi? Are Korean women pretty? This is Korea. You understand? Good - here are your students; go teach them 'interesting and funny' lessons.
