i just found a great place to jam in yeong tong (suwon) with drums, a (crappy) keyboard, and amplifiers! best of all, it's free!

i'm looking to play drums, write tunes, and record with one or two other people in the area who want to experiment and have a good time... you need your own guitar or bass (i have a few mics)... we can jam for a couple of hours on saturday and/or sunday...

i listen to a wide range of music including hard rock, industrial, classic rock, jazz, and classical... i want to play challenging music that incorporates rhythmic textures with modern rock sounds and occassional melodies...

please RSVP to this post with some info re: music you like to play, where you live, and when on the weekends you'd like to get together...

i don't mind soldiers as long as they:
1. understand who and what they're fighting for, and
2. respect people who disagree with them

i've sent you a pm twice, but neither are showing up in my sent folder, so you probably haven't received them. here's my deets:

i'm 27, into tons of stuff, love improv jams, also played in a signed indie rock band back home, have a couple of guitars here, will be in seoul for at least a year more, play in hongdae on sundays but would love to hook up any time & see how it goes.

Hard to believe. I wouldn't think Suwon and jamming are synonomous.

i'm a dumbass... didn't even notice that i could receive PMs! thanks for the responses... keep posting if you're interested....

cassette: it's at the ymca in yeong tong! the drumkit is a ludwig with only a few cymbals but the room has a few amplifiers (a laney tube hybrid with a broken input jack), a keyboard, a powered mixer and some speakers... i've been there maybe 5 times and there's never been anyone else using the room!
