* The Republic has also instituted compulsory voting for its citizens. Each citizen who is eligible to vote is required to vote. Non-compliance will be ... discouraged.

* Top R.M. officials have recently been quoted making disparaging remarks about the United Nations. One official was reported as muttering "Bunch of ineffective gas-bags" when asked a question about the UN. It doesn't seem likely that the R.M. will be sending a UN delegate in the near future.

Bondrock's national animal is the Amoeba, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Bunodo.
