i am staying at the following address (the Gold Pond Guesthouse) when i arrive tomorrow - my first time in korea.

188-40, 14/5 Myeongnyun-dong 4-ga Jongno-gu,

i was hoping that the guesthouse would provide directions in korean for my taxi driver, but apparently they do not. so if there's any online translation tool out there, please let me know.

If you click on the photos, you will be able to find quite a clear map which you can print out for the taxi driver. It looks like there are many landmarks, especially the subway station.

thank you all for your help, i really appreciate it. one last question though, if you don't mind. i have been give the international number for my hostel (+82-2-741-5621), but i'm unsure as to how i dial this IN korea. do i just drop the 82 and its simple as that?

82 is Korea
(0) 2 is Seoul

if you are calling that number in Seoul, dial 741-5621 only.

if you are calling from somewhere else in Korea, dial 02-741-5621.
