| Hi. I was curious to find out what people here would say about teaching in Korea for the first time and using that experience as your "training" for other ESL jobs around the world. In other words, if I were to teach in Korea with no prior experience in teaching and have no certificate, would this first teaching experience be a good training to prepare you to teach elsewhere? |

| Any teaching job where you have to coordinate a classroom is good experience. It is also good experience for those who have never lived abroad, but the job may not necessarily be good ESL training. That depends on the job itself. Does it simply require you to read aloud? Then no, that's not good ESL experience. |
