I know that I'm gonna get bashed in the head for this, but I can't find definitive information on the answer.
Exactly what do I need to send the Consulate (Atlanta) to get my E2 visa? And how much are they (American)? I thought that I read somewhere that for a multi-entry visa, the cost was $80. That's what I sent. The office called me and told me that I sent too much and that she was sending it back. The only things I included was the application, my passport and the money. Don't I need to send something else when I mail the money order back? |

After 1 January, they also added the requirement for a copy of your diploma or transcripts.
The consulate web site tells you the fees and what documents. |

The easiest way to get info from the Atlanta consulate is to call them directly.
I did some of the paperwork with them (getting my degrees notarized) and then had to have a friend drop off and pickup the rest of it. They were very clear about the fact that that was allowed, etc. My friend basically screwed up, I called them to fix it, they made sure everything was fine, it will worked out. Everyone was super polite and answered my questions and made sense and nobody disagreed with anyone else as far as I know.
Call them and revel in it, because the Koreans in Korean involved in red tape are the exact opposite of that. |

I had read on here so much about "multi-entry visas". I saw that mentioned on the Consulate's website and the cost was $80. I couldn't see anywhere on their website what exactly was needed for an E2 so I sent my visa application, passport and a check for the $80. They called me to tell me that I had sent too much and they were returning my check. She told me to mail her a money order for the correct amount (I couldn't understand how much...I'll look it up). |
