All I read is blah blah blah "No dealer would EVER believe he was not a cop." Right. And no dealer would EVER believe that Don Johnson was not a regular at the Bird Cage at South Beach.
Oh, and Heat was boring, except for that fantastic shootout which was one of the best scenes in a movie, EVER. |

That is correct, and here is why I AM right:
Heat actually had pretensions of being a great movie. Good actors, decent script, decent dialogue, etc., yet it failed on every level to fundamentally ENTERTAIN, which is ULTIMATELY what you and I pay our $7.00 for (again, except for that fantastic firefight which was probably the best EVER, except for EVERYTHING that happened in PREDATOR).
Miami Vice, on the other hand, had no such pretensions. You got exactly what you paid for. As I've already said, if you are not entertained by Heinie, guns, and glam, your chromosomes were tainted somewhere along the line and you need to think about gene therapy.
Bottom line: If you don't have a hard-on for SUPERIOR FIREPOWER you're either a girl, or French Canadian.
Game.
