I might be coming that way in April. Ideally, I'd like a university position (I have the qualifications), but it's hard to get that from abroad. I'll shoot for that; but I think that my timing is going to push me out of the public school game as well, making it most likely that I'd have to take on a hagwan gig. |

I'm back in Canada now, but I interviewed for a public school position before I left, and was just informed I got the job. They told me they want me to leave at the end of February, so I can be there the first week of March for training. March is the beginning of the new semester for the public schools, so they'd likely want you there at that time. If you can change your schedule, and bump up your plans a month, then you'd likely have more luck. Best to ya! |

You are most likely right about a university gig, but you could probably snag a public school job. Just be upfront about when you can arrive. Many schools would be willing to wait a month. |

I'm not sure about April, but I know many GEPIK teachers who were hired in the month of May of last year. I dont know how many are resigning their contracts. I am not one of them, so you can find some then. Not every public school starts in march or august. I believe you can find one. |

It's also likely there will be vacancies and you will be able to snag a position through a recruiter like worknplay (Ashley is great). Bonus is you will know where the school is exactly. |
