| Where can I buy a small fire extinguisher for my apt? I can't recall EVER seeing one for sale.... |

I saw some at CostCo a couple of weeks back. And down in Jeju there was a small shop that sold only Fire Extinguishers. They must not have had much income as no Korean I've ever known has one!

Howdy Cowboy,
just read your other post about the apt fire.
If you can't find an extinguisher in any stores, then how about going at it the unconventional way: ask your school director/boss about supplying you with one. tell them that it's in their best interest to protect 'their' apt in case of fire (IF they provide for your housing).
Another way is to swing by the local fire dept. and ask them to buy one, i'm sure they'll help you out.
Lastly, ask your building superintendent to get you one.
There are 8 apartments on my floor and we have about 3-4 standing in the hallway.

| I saw a store around Yongsan selling only Fire Extinguishers. So they are to be found. Do a search on Naver or the like. |
