Can someone give me the low down on these things, are they legit? A money grab? Are they fun, what's the story??

I've never been, but a buddy loves them. He goes with a few friends and drops about 160,000-200,000 a night. Basically, you sit there, drink and girls come by to talk to you. It isn't prostitution, though the girls are free to do what they want, like leave the table or take your number. There are there to take your money, but if you don't mind spending money to meet hot girls (usually how it works on the street, right?), then it's for you. Personally, I wouldn't spend that kind of money to simply talk to girls. I do fine on my own.

They can be a good time, but I wouldn't go if I was paying the tab.

Booking clubs are just regular clubs with normal people, no prostitutes go at all. However, it's just sort of an introduction service. You must ask the male bartenders, or waiters to "book" some girls for you. So all he does is asks girls at the club whether they want to meet some guys. The bartender just brings them over and if there is no chemistry, you or the girls can just sit up and leave. However, only girls are brougt to the guys, and not vice versa.

The other thing you're probably talking about are room salons. These places are just karaoke places except it's manadory to get some girl while you party it up and drink. The girls are supposed to be your girlfriend for that hour you pay for. don't have to engage in any sexual activity, you can just go and have fun, or whatever.. it really depends on yourself.

Then there are regular karaoke places where you can just ask them to call young women over, and it's pretty much the same thing as a room salon, except room salons must have a bathroom in the private room to probably pass as some sort of motel business.

Then there are room salons with no bathrooms, and a little cheaper.

But mostly the room salons are used for businesses to bring their clients, some are extremely upscale and expensive. Nothing out of the ordinary happens inside of the places, you must take them to one of those love motels.

These places are so ingrained in Korean society. They're not tucked away in some red light district, but out there everywhere. kids, families normally walk by them as if they were just a 7-11.

You forgot to mention the part about where you can touch the girls all you want and if you are a "known" person you can pay more for the whole routine. Many girls are available for a little extra fun..as long as you pay.

**** You guys type about them like you haven't been to them. It is easy to arrange extra fun...and yes..to all the guys that have dated these girls, they are having sex with customers. I love when the girls explain to the boyfriends how the system works ....all lookee but no touchee. Maybe a little touchee but not sexee. A little sexee but only safe sexee.
