Level 3 Communications (LVLT) Will Cramer make me mad money?

Crammer is a criminal, be very wary of what he says. I can't believe the SEC lets him get away with his crap. He said last week to sell Tech save for 5 companies. His hope is that tech goes down and he will buy in and then tell all his lemmings to buy back in. LVLT was his speculative pick, on speculative stocks - have a small proportion of your portfolio in them and have a "basket" not just one, also a good idea to have a stop loss in place. I hate Crammer!
Fast Money is a great show on CNBC along with Market Call/Market Call Tonight on ROBtv (Canada.)
Another ETF for BRICs is EEB.

| I keep mine all in mutual funds because I just can't be bothered to spend the time searching out the next individual stock hit. I rely on my financial advisor for help and am willing to pay him for this, again because I don't want to spend my time on it. Up 14% for the year. Good enough for me. |

| Up 90% or so. Haven't decided what to buy in 2007 yet. |
Bought the stocks on January 30 last year and today, January 25, I've hit 102%. |

Start of 2006, I was down about $20,000......by year end, my stocks did a reverse and I was up about $25,000 plus I took out about $10,000. You do the math.
For 2007, I'm playing the low cap stocks........high risk but you only need a few winners to offset the few losses that you have to cut short. So far, this month, I'm up about 40%.........LONG AND STRONG |

You get your ideas and research from some specific sites or just read the news etc and brainstorm...? General question. |

| Mine are doing pretty good, save for some holes in the heels and toes. I seem to lose them all the time on my drying rack too. Who knows where they run off to... |

I get most of my ideas from former stock broker buddies who are very involved with deals out of Vancouver and other low cost stocks that are about to get some heavy promotion...........I don't ever consider what the business of the company is.........just look at who is promoting the company. Some guys are great and others suck. It's high risk, but I've been in this side of the market for nearly 30 years......it's addictive. Guess I could go to Vegas for a thrill........... |

Care to share any names? I was thinking about doing a stock investment group on the net to discuss stock ideas - Korean and elsewhere. Anyone interested? I am in the midst of studying to be an analyst so it would be good practice. |

| When you invest in public companies do you ever consider whether they will be good for the benefit of people, labor and environment, or just run with the flow? |

Any takers? |
If you are confident on the Korean economy then you should buy it. Just don't put 100% of your money into it. There are different views that no more than 8-15% of your money should be in one investment. If the Norks decide to do something crazy the South Korean stock market usually takes a hit. Diversification among sectors and countries are essential for a balanced portfolio.
An ETF: iShares MSCI South Korea Index (EWY)

FUND SUMMARY
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of publicly traded securities in the South Korean markets, as measured by the MSCI South Korea index. The fund uses a representative sampling strategy to try to track the index. The index consists of stocks traded primarily on the South Korean Stock Exchange. It is nondiversified.

I would invest in any company. I realize that there are companies that are not good for people's health and the environment but my philosophy is if I am able to make a good amount of money, I can put that to use trying to help those people who are negatively affected by exploiting companies or government.
There are mutual funds that don't invest in "Sin Stocks" or only invest in Green Companies. |

I ended up getting JOB, IFSG.OB and LVLT if anyone cares.
Anyone recommend a general ETF each for BRIC, Europe, and Latin America? EEB looks ok I'm just looking for ideas. |

Holy cow, I can't believe there is another JOB investor here. It's such a miniscule company. It has suddenly had a very nice run (I picked it up last March).
CEE is my pick for a European ETF. |
