does anyone know about tha origin...or story...as to y a person that just comes out of jail is given tofu? i swear i see that on korean dramas all tha time and its always irked me....

late last night in the restaurant �bonjook� near samsung plaza, i was busy eating my jook then all of sudden, in the corner of my eye, i saw an ah-jum-ma possibly mid 30's years of age, strugging to stand up off her chair. i escorted her out to my car she sat in the rear seat, on the opposite side of the driver seat. she told me to take �go sok do ro� (the expressway) and get off on exit abc123. moments later, I was getting off the ramp of the exit, so i asked her where she wanted me to turn next. there was a moment of silence, so i glanced over behind me, and what do i see?

her drunk ass was knocked the fugg out with her legs open, exposing her panties. i quickly moved my eyes back on the road and my body shivered as if i just witnessed someone getting beheaded. i quietly woke her from her deep sleep with a shaky voice, and she proceeded to give me the directions until we arrived at her home. i waited for her to open the door to her apt�

(as to the jail and tofu). it's a purification thing- tofu is white, etc. you do something bad, absolve your sins in jail, and eat tofu for a new start. i think it might be a special kind of tofu.
