No, I'm not mcgarret. How can you tell by the subject line? I don't use them.

So Nevada is trying to ace New Hampshire out. It's Ok by me!

Then there is the talk of population shift to the mountain west and that was a counterbalance to the sunbelt. Perhaps but that might backfire. We Mormons pretty much own the mountain west.

Thanks for the posting on Obama. How true it is doesn't matter too much in view of the political consequences. If he is a Muslim the US won't want him. If states he's left Islam that makes hime a target as an apostate, whci to them is worse than most things.

I do hope the Democrats niminate him. It will be the kiss of death for their hopes of winning the election.

Well, it's no surprise that the 'madrassa' story turned out to be complete shit:

Good eye, man. I missed that.

But the "sock" thing still perplexes me. It is already an anonymous forum. And this is more hobby than real life.

So why would anonymous posters on an anonymous forum try to conceal their own anonymity with an additional layer of anonymity? Dammit, I just made myself dizzy.

The Mystery of the Nevada Election Has Been Solved!!!

The partys Nevada caucuses slated for just five days after the traditional kickoff event in Iowa and three days before the primary in New Hampshire

It wasn't clear earlier that Nevada uses the caucus system, like Iowa and not the primary system like New Hampshire.

I think it's a good idea to move a western state up in the calendar--just not before the caucuses in the great and sovereign state of Iowa, whose caucuses by state law must be the first in the nation. Ptui on Nevada! They are only second. Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nah!

What's a sock?

I used "mith" because I was too darned lazy to type the whole thing out.

Nope what you have is just me, the oldest surviving Canadian curmugeon in Korea. I came at age 60 and I'm still here teching uni at age 67.

I haven't been here before because I tried to sign in a couple of years ago with the name "I hate Canadians". Dave Sperling wouldn't let me have it. Then when I tried to sign in with a different name things locked up.

All is now love and kisses.

Bill Clinton was an amazing president??? Shocked

Her husband did a great job; she'll do even better!

My question what was so amazing or how did he do a great job? All Pres Bill did was ride the covertails of republican policies. Look at the situation now. This is Pres Bill mess, overseas and on the home front!!

Micro-managed everything.
Balanced the budget.

Do not try and tell me balancing the budget is a Republican policy.

Ronnie Reagan won the cold war. Bush Sr. would have had two terms except for the jug eared little Texan from the "Reform" party.

Bush II - anything would be better than Gore the bore.

Kerry the wannabe Kennedy who was even more boring than Gore.

As far as Obama goes all the Republicans have to do is use his full name Barrak Hussein Obama every time they refer to him in any way. If you want a black president go for Condi Rice.

Sorry to intrude on the liberal love fest on this thread, but I think you're sorely mistaken if you really believe Clinton or Obama is going to win the nomination. Just what we need: Bill running around loose in the White House, except now with much less to do. Then again, this might make for some great late night show fodder. Then once again, that probably won't happen since almost all these shows are hosted by libera
