| I want to take the Trans-Siberian from Beijing to Moscow through Mongolia when I finsih my contract in May. All I can find online are trips that go in the opposite direction, starting in Moscow. It seems logical that you should be able to take the train the other way, but I can't find anything. Does anybody know anything about this? |

every tour company that does a "moscow to beijing" tour, also does a "beijing to moscow" tour. just reverse the itinerary.
www.monkeyshrine.com are specifically based in beijing.
but i wouldn't reccomend doing a tour anyway, do it yourself, it's much more interesting.
also, if you don't plan on stopping between irkutsk and moscow (a lot of people don't) then i suggest flying between them. the train can get very boring if you get in the wrong room (think sharing a room with three old women who speak no english, or a father and his two kids). the cost can be roughly the same and it saves some time if you want to enjoy your full 30 day visa in russia.
ps. search these forums....there's been about half a dozen of these threads in the last 2 months |
