I am trying to find information on obtaing a multiple entry visa. Can this only be done at Incheon?
How long does it take?
Many of the threads on here are not current. Where can I find the most recent information on doing this? |

You CANNOT get a multi re-entry at the airport.
You CAN get a single re-entry at the airport. It takes 15-60 minutes depending on the lineup in front of you. The cost is 30k won. The office is in a hallway along the back wall of the departures area past the check in counters and BEFORE you go into/through security.
IF you want a multi re-entry permit you have to get it from your local or district immigration office. Again it takes 15-90 minutes depending on the lineup in front of you. The cost is 50k won.
The website is: http://www.immigration.go.kr/HP/IMM80/imm_04/imm_0404/sm10.jsp

I know this thread is a little old, but does anyone know how long it takes to process a multiple re-entry visa?
I did it once before, and left my passport at the immigration office. I didn't see it for several weeks, but I have a feeling my old hakwon director may have just been hanging on to it.....
I finished my camps last week, and have been too sick to leave my apartment for the first few days of the week.
I have to go to immi tomorrow, so hopefully someone who has done this can reply.
(I'm going to post this on job-related too....sorry) |

Your re-entry is done "while-you-wait".
The biggest delay is the line-up in front of you.
If you are there early (like 9:30am) then you are in and out in 20 minutes. If you are there after 12:00 then you can expect a delay of up to an hour to get to the counter and then 15 minutes to get the sticker. |

Cool, thank you all, Tom to for taking the time to post on both threads....
I will go there very early and hopefully be in and out as quickly as some have suggested. |
