This is a long time in advance but Im trying to work out my options and well..I like planning. Myself and a friend are going on vacation in october for 2/3 months. Hes flying in from Europe. Anyway I want suggestions from you guys/girls who are well travelled in Asia. Requirements are as follows.

My friend says all he needs is sun and a beach, so they are the basic requirements and all we need for the first month. im pretty sure a few weeks of that will bore him though, so somewhere with nightlife/things to see would be nice too. im not much into temples and such but anything you think we must see, tell me. All these should be pretty easy to find in Thailand, Philipines, etc. im kinda looking for specific suggestions however. Like this one beach which you loved, or an area perfect for chilling where you can rent a bungalow/place for a couple of weeks.

So basically, a place you loved and are dying to point people in the direction of. Let me be that person
