I had a positive thread about Koreans so why not on Westerners sojourning in a far off land, far from their abodes and dealing with another place?

This topic is for people who are married to their Western woman or man.
What has your women given you that maybe you wouldn't get locally.
It could be anything even like we love watching the Stanley Cup or the Super Bowl, and I can't do with the locals so much.

I suppose I have to start. I just love it when I am talking to a Western girl who is obviously going to be comfortable speaking English. She may remind me of things I might miss back home and also add a feminine perspective. I think more Western women (I could be wrong) appreciate red wine, museums, culture just like I do than the locals. Anyway, perceptions are not a hard science.

There is nothing like feeling intimate and expressing yourself in your common language. Also, there is something about looking in the eyes blue, hazel, chocolate brown accompanied with a smile.

Now can you all be nice to each other? Here is a toast with a beer I will have this weekend.

Ciao...

This is not the why you prefer Korean women thread. So you want to argue. Don't act like a troll....

I don't care about the muff thing. It is true about the smell thing there is a certain familiar smell to your own tribe that can be nice sometimes for some. Also, when it comes to drinking appreciating the same kind of drinks...

Was I? A smell thing could cover many things why one thing? Anyway, very funny.... I do miss some a certain Western female friend I had back home. It was so good just to have a beer and talk with her about anything. Of course, talking to the guys is great too, but there is something different about a female friend....

What about crashing the ladies' party, superfly? How would they react to that? That sounds kind of whacky. Can you give some details? I don't know about dressing in wigs. I can just come out and say "hello".
I wonder how the ladies are when they get together for their big bash.
I haven't been to the male one to compare.

Oh dude...I was kidding. But no, it wouldn't be like...a total crash, it would be more like a joke-hit-and-run type of thing. I have my halloween costume that I brought with me....grass skirt, hawaiian accessories, including the lays that they wear around their necks.

A little make up, some balloons inserted under our shirts...we wouldn't be sitting down to join them...just running in, making our statement - run around their tables and toss candy into their laps - then boogey on down the road.

That kinda thing. Wink

I don't think they'd be pissed, I think they'd enjoy a bit of entertainment actually.

Edit: We could sing them a song from the 70's like this one:

Quote:
Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love.

Hail (hail) what's the matter with your hair, yeah
Hail (hail) what's the matter with your mind and your sign and a, oh
Hail (hail) nothing the matter with your mind baby, find it, come on and find it
Hail with it baby, 'cause you're fine and you're mine and you
Look so divine

Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love.

Hail (hail) what's the matter with you, feel right, don't you feel right baby
Hail (hail) oh yeah get it from the main vine

All right
I said a find it, find it
Go on and love it
If you like it yeah yeah
Hail (hail) it's your business if you want some take some
Get it together baby

Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love now.

Come and get your love
Come and get your love
Come and get your love now.

HG,

I don't think you understand. I'm the puppy, not the human. Try to understand, this is 2007...dogs can do a lot of things that they couldn't do before. Yes I can type. Yes I can talk, and more imporatantly....I can drive.

So just to clarify....here's me:

My big brother:

I hope that clears things up a bit!

What's up with the red wine? I mean....white wine is better IMHO, more drinkable and does not leave marks on the lips, etc. Anyway, red wine as the benefit...... Rolling Eyes

Superfly, do you know where I can get a custome? Maybe we can kind of surprise them with some wacky costumes and they can give us free beer if they like the costumes:) Who is in for doing that? Anyway, when is there get together? Yeah, we don't need to stay, we can just do a hit and run.

I don't think that song would work for me. Can you come up with another one? Is there anything twangy and silly like Elton John's song "Tiny Dancer". I am not sure if that would work? Anyway, who else is in for this? And where is it? If it sounds good, I'd go:)
