Might be a stupid question . . .
Time isn't allowing me to get my working Visa before I leave Canada so I'll have to make a Japan run the first week I get to Seoul.
What do I say to customs/immigration when I'm entering Korea? If I say I'm teaching there for a year then won't they ask for my working visa? Do I lie and say I'm just on vacation? |

Mostly, they don't even ask. Every time I've been here, the guy has looked at my Canadian passport and given me 6 months, no questions asked.
On the entry card, you can write whatever you want. If he questions you, I find telling the truth the easiest, in words of one syllable - just don't tell him you'll be teaching before you go to Japan for your visa run. |

Tell them that you are a native Iranian who is going to North Korea to purchase unmentionable items which will then be sent to your fellow conspirators in Florida. |
