Are duties and taxes required on the personal belongings I will bring to Korea?
Thanks. |

I asked if I need to declare my laptop and the woman said no. Although if I would have followed the instructions the way I interpreted them I would have had to have listed it on the form.
I don't get how the whole thing works. What does it mean to "declare" something. Why do I have to pay duties on the camera my father sent me via fedex but not on the laptop I carried on the airplane?
