|
|
I've been advised that I should apply for my wifes dependents visa at the same time as my own.
I was told to include a copy of our marriage certificate (it's in Thai) and a copy of her passport. They will then issue her a visa number on the strength of her being my dependent.
Can anybody clarify the procedure? One of the recruiter I've been dealing with tells me that I have to do it once I'm in the country and I can't do it before.
Another recruiter has said to do it when I apply for mine so she has it in her passport straight away and can use it when she likes.
Cheers

Your contract, passport, marriage certificate, photos of her, letter of invitation from your school (not always necessary, but good to have) and your ARC. Mods, can we do an F3 sticky? |

So does this mean that I need to do it after I get there?
Will the Korean immigration accept marriage certificates in Thai?
Is she 100% covered by my medical cover as mentioned in a previous post? |

That is the way I did it, after I arrived in country and she joined me soon after. Second question, they should do. Ours are in Indonesian and were just glanced at in a cursory manner. Third, she should be, depending on your type of cover and if you specify that you want her covered. |
