i got home from work and try to check my email, password is incorrect, so i try again, still incorrect, lame. i check capslock, it's fine.
so i retype my user name, and it comes out as random characters.
so i go to the address bar and try to type in an address, all wrong characters.
w=, ; c=j ; .=v ; t=y ; r=p
n=b ; e=. ; i=c ; b=x ; o=r
but a=a and m=m
explorer, word, notepad, excell are all fine, just firefox is screwy
uninstall and reinstall fixed the problem.
wtf was it? |

Type the following into your browser for a laugh, much better than a Firefox bug.
Code: |
javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.getElementsByTagName("img"); DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=(Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5)+"px"; DIS.top=(Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5)+"px"}R++}setInterval('A()',5); void(0); |

so it happened again with my fresh install.
and on further investigation it seems i've changed from a QWERTY keyboard layout to the DVORAK layout inadvertantly. twice.
anybody know what freakish combination of keys i've pressed to make it happen twice? or how to stop it doing it? |

Try Opera. Mozilla really dropped the ball with FF2. FF1.5 is better, you could try going back to that version if your problem persists. |
