Hi,
Does anyone know of a good medical professional who can speak decent English?
I'm willing to go almost anywhere in the Seoul area to make sure I get someone good. I am specifically looking for a gastrointestinal specialist, but a good GP would be fine too.
I've already been to Hallym Hospital in Pyeongchon and the guy there is a load of crap. |

Is that the guy with the wonky eye? You wonder what in the room he's looking at?
Diagnosis: viral gastroenteritis.
I ended up at Ajou University Hospital in Suwon. World-class, and all staff speaks English. |

I would recommend Samsung Medical Center. This is at Irwon Subway station (orange line). It is the one which all the embassies recommend and the US military also use it. They have great English and is rated as one of the best medical centers in Asia!

Yonsei Severance Hospital (near Sinchon Station, Line #2) has an International Health Care Center. All doctors there speak English fluently, and the Director (John Linton) is American.
