I can't seem to get the search function to function...
For the drivers out there, can you give me a rough idea of what you pay for comprehensive auto insurance here in Korea. Thanks. |

94 Tico;
worth about a million won & comprehensively insured through Samsung for 60 million won,
around 350,000 won per year in premiums,
under 2,000 won per year on flashy, new, interior accessories. |

| Great information here; can I get insurance as a driver on a car I don't actually own? It was entrusted to me by a Korean friend who has left the country. |

Sure you can get insurance on a car u dont own.. But i dont think you can walk into the insurance company and ask to get insured on a car u dont own. I would take a guess and say u would have to get the owners consent with the insurance company.
Wouldnt u do the same back in your home country? Although korea can be stange in ways u and i dont normally expect .. but i would say you'd have to contact your korean buddy and have him/her contact the insurance company first. Be thorough |
