Is there anyone competent to assisting US citizens in filing income taxes from Korea?
I am just checking before setting up a deal in the States with a Tax attorney. |

| There's an H&R Block in Seoul that deals with foreigners. They'll charge about $125 for a basic tax return. If you're a teacher without a lot of complicated tax issues, I'd recommend doing it yourself. Just takes a little research on the web and you're all good. |

I saw an ad in the Korean herald for someone who does U.S. taxes. Maybe a lawyer. You could check that out. www.koreaherald.co.kr
Although, as the poster above said, you could probably figure it out over a weekend. Mine are fairly complicated, and I'm planning to do it myself with the trusy help of www.irs.gov. |
