Unless things have changed I don't believe you can get a skype in number for South Korea, at least last time I checked. Heck I wanted a Canadian number so that my friends and family could call but again it's not possible. Good luck.............. |

I must be missing something. I am using Skype here for the first time. I have made a few calls to Australia, calling both fixed and mobile (cell) phones. Why would you need a special phone?
To have incoming calls from Skype I can just leave my computer on and those with Skype running can call me free of charge.

1: You don't need a special phone per se, but it can be a convenience to have a handset as opposed to putting on the headphones everytime you get a call. And, to the OP, I haven't seen any here, though I haven't actually looked all that hard.
2: Yes, but with Skype In, your friends and relatives can use their actual phones to call a local number (wherever you come from) and by dialing that number they will reach your computer. If all your friends and family use Skype on their PCs, then you don't need this service. If most of your acquaintences are computer illiterate, then it may be worth it to you. |

The phone connects to the computer where the headset would go. Some people prefer a tradiional instrument and as you can now get them "wireless" it makes them even more convenient. They are available here but are not cheap.
I have SkypeIn with a UK number but I believe it is available here for a Korean number. |

I'm afraid I'll have to burst that bubble of faith Wangja. They have Estonia configured for SkypeIn but not Korea. Bummer I know... |

My folks and I have been using SKYPE (PC to PC) with no problems. It's fantastic. On the other hand, the Microsoft 3000 camera I use is mediocre, at best. |
