Hey all. First time poster (outside the politics forum, anyway).
I've read up a bit on YBM generally around here, and it sounds about right for me.
I start early march, and was wondering if anyone on here is already or will be teaching at the new YBM school in Songdo, and if I'm utterly fucked in some way I didn't anticipate.
Thanks all, and my name's greg. |

I don't work for YBM Songdo but I do know that the Songdo area in Incheon is a great area and by 2015 or so they will have several 65 stories or taller buildings, couple international schools/universities and become an area where English will be widely used. The Korean government is trying to turn this area into Manhatten by creating a major business and education district.
Check out the Feb 2nd, 2007 Korea Herald Newspaper print version as it had an article about the $500 million dollar 65 story Trade Tower that will be buit by POSCO and New York based developer Gale International. I would guess that it will take many years to complete this project as it invovles the Trade Tower, Convention Center and Central Park, a 400,000 sq meter oasis park that will cost $200 million dollars to develop.
I would definitely not mind living here as I am now getting tired of Seoul. I liked Seoul when I first moved here but now Seoul feels too congested.
Last month I was passing through the Songdo area and can see that it is not fully developed yet but it was very clean and looked very modern |

Sweet. That's what I've been reading, as well.
I'm even morbidly curious about some of the things I hear about rfid they do there. |

| Rock on. If I could meet someone who lives nearby, that would be sweet. This will be my second move in less than 6 months to a place where I don't know a soul. |
