This is so typical of the New York Tripe......

Bush turns to the economy to rebuild popularity

http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/01/31/news/prexy.php

If the "paper of record" weren't so consumed with Bush Derangement Syndrome, they might have come up with a truthful headline such as "Bush Stresses Economy"

Nope, they have to editorialize with "to rebuild popularity"

The New York Times has sunk to the same level as the Independent....nothing but bobbing heads trying to convince people of something.......

The funny thing about this headline is that it is obvious that Bush is not in the least bit interested in being popular. He knows he's out of there in 2 years....he never governed by polls in his first term why would he in his second?

Can't wait until the NYT goes belly up....the day is rapidly approaching....

The NYT is a tool of the communists to undermine our values and ultimately subvert this fine nation.
I commend your diligence.

don't worry, some day you'll be able to think for yourself, without worrying what the professors will think......

oh, or all the cool people with tattoos.......their admiration is as important as professors' stamps of approval (grades)......

god forbid you appear uncool, either physically, or intellectually......

cool cool cool.....

it's all cool.

Sure.
That headline is likely a minor modification of an AP wire title, which is likely a minor modification of some guy in the white house press corps' summary of a news conference, or a press release.

You can pick out individual examples of headlines you think are liberal-biased all you want. Big journalism sides with big capitalism, and I'd like to see you leave anecdotal evidence and prove me wrong. If you'd really like, I can point out hundreds of headlines that I think display nearly fascist views in the New York Times.

if you are interested genius boy in a covert ad hominem reply....

a little self-awareness is in order.

grow up and leave the deabte chamber for the real world...which academics spend their whole lives striving to avoid dealing with...or escaping from...

so choose you poison...or join the world.

and let me know if you think the New York Times headline quoted in the OP is editorializing.......
