Looking to head anywhere warm near the end of February, not picky just want a decent price. Is it possible to just show up at the airport to find something? Can travel agents assist with this(haven't had much luck thus far with them)?
Has anyone here ever tried this and what happened? Thanks. |

www.whypaymore.co.kr is showing flights at the end of Feb for:
HongKong - 270k
Bangkok - 390k
Taipai - 270k
Bali - 520k
KualaLumpur 465k
Call them and ask for somewhere. 02-318-8585.
IF you DON'T get an English speaker the first time, try again ten minutes later. There are about 40 people on the phones all day long and many of them do speak English.
If you were looking for a PACKAGE tour from one of the tour companies, Mode tour, Lotte tour and Hana tour all have warm places at the END of Feb (when school goes back) for as little as 600k for a 4 night 5 day - all inclusive package in a warm place.
In fact, Hana tour ( http://www.hanatour.com ) is advertising a 5 night/6 day package to Phuket for 499k (add 180k for single suppliment if you are travelling alone). |

| Thanks for the link, the prices for my time are still a little high but I'll keep checking. Does this site deal with canceled vacations? Is just showing up at the airport a possibility? |

HOW is this possible when the flight alone is > 600,000? |

Group rates are always cheaper
AND
Tour companies get tickets much cheaper than you or a travel agent can because of BULK volumes. On some flights /routes each tour company can make up more than 10% of total capacity on EACH and every flight so they get very good rates. |
