They are mainstream in Britain, and widely read among the middle classes.

Not Mein Kampf - I'm a Jew by ancestry.

Your struggles to arrive at a moral relativism are quite funny.

Israel bad Ayrabs good.

The Guardian has alway been near communist or a the very least hard left socialist. The Independent - Robert Fisk. Need I say more?

This just makes your position all the more tragic.

Why?

I have chosen sides. The Palestinians in particular and the Muslim would in general have lost any sympathy I might have had by theit conduct.

They keep starting and losing wars and still hold onto the "drive the Jews" into the sea" idea. They combine this with continual whining about the "Catastrophe" and right of return.

It is absolutely apalling. However, there is a difference for the purpose of this CE forum. I've not seen anyone here justify the killing of Palestinians in Iraq. If I do see people like you jumping up and justifying the horrific ordeal that the Palestinians in Iraq are being forced to endure, I will speak out against it. So far I have not. There are, however, many here who continue to justify the horrible occupation of the West Bank and the criminal siege of Gaza

Siege of Gaza.?..does it concern you at all that militants in Gaza stock pile weapons there, fire Qassam rockets at Israeli civillians, and groups like Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Jaish al-Islam, and al-aqsa Martyrs brigade run around preaching there message of hate and destruction...all after the Israeli withdraw??
Nobody here is justifying the treatment of Palestinians by Iraqis...In fact the Israel supporters are the ones who brought it up...Not YOU...The point is that there is little to no outrage over Arabs killing Palestinians..compared with the outrage that comes when Israel takes action...(but that's only because of Israel supporters right?? Or is it because you belittle the Arabs...Isreal is a full western style democracy they should be held accountable...but not Arabs...they have an ongoing war....they have excuses for no freedom of the press and any other atrocity)

This is your very simplistic analysis of my position.

The people of Israel are human beings. And like any population of human beings they will have some saints, some great guys, some good guys, some mediocre guys, some good for nothing guys and some outright scoundrels. The same goes for the Arab population. I am under no illusion that the Arabs are nicer than the Israelis. Each individual must be judged by their own merit.

However, Israel as a political entity, is doing great wrong to the Palestinian population. There are many Israelis who agree with me on this. Unfortunately, at the moment, the Israelis who vehemently oppose the occupation (which is illegal, and monstrously brutal) do not have the numbers or the power to have much effect. I hope this will change.

This is why I have little sympathy for the Israeli position. Precisely because of the appalling conduct since they illegally annexed the territories. I suspect you are happily ignorant of the horrors that have been visited on the Palestinians by the IDF and fanatical Israeli settlers. I'm sure, too, that you wish to remain blissfully ignorant.

You take the most extremist line "Drive the Jews into the sea" and assign it to the whole population of Palestine - as if these people were just one homogenous mass of seething hatred. I find this appallingly racist. As a jew, you should know better than this. Secondly, you yourself might whine continually about the "Catastrophe" if you lived the hellish life that many of these refugees lived.

Glad you didn't respond to my "Seige of Gaza" point...Good job... Anyway I've NEVER said Israel Good Arabs Bad......Given the number of your posts that critique Israel and the number of your posts that critique the Palestinians...Maybe you could comment on how the Palestinian Political Entities like Fatah and Hamas are doing a GREAT wrong to the Palestinian population..?? Who does the great harm? Those who fire rockets with the intent of AVOIDING civillians? Or those who fire rockets with the intent of killing Civillians and do everything they can to spread as much hate..like teaching children songs about evil joos while praising the martrys and encouraging teens to go after those 72 virgins???

Why shouldn't the Israelis annex it. It is the promised land that God gave to Abraham.

What is illegal abou the occupation? International law is a figment of the imagination.

Well, if you believe that the OT is a legal and binding document granting Israelis a nice bit of real estate, then your position is correct. If like me, you are something of an atheist, then you'll consider the OT to be a figment of the imagination, and international law a much better framework for deciding this dispute.
