Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about Footprints Recruiting and how reputable they are?

I am moving to Korea in May/June this year and I am at a total loss as to what the good schools are and which aren't, who offers the best deal, etc.

Any help on good schools would be much appreciated.

Cheers,
Steph

I just signed my second contract through footprints, and both times they found me exactly what I was looking for.

It all goes on the vibe you get from them. Recruiters are different fits with different people. Footprints was a great fit for me personally. All the people I've met in person while in Korea who used Footprints were satisfied as well. I've read people complaining on this forum, but some people have tendencies to find bad things in every situation. It's hard to believe what you read all the time, but do your research regardless. Different recruiters are better for different people, depending on what you are looking for. Some people choose not to use a recruiter at all, and prefer to come over in person and find a job on their own. This was not what I wanted to do, and Footprints helped bridge the gap for me and get me the positions I wanted.

Good luck in your job hunt! Smile

A decent agency overall. They have their limitations like all recruiters but they seem to put some effort into placing teachers and seem to have some type of follow up post-placement.

However, for an experienced teacher, Footprints like most recruiters becomes unecessary. They are a good option for a newbie teacher however.
