I went to Changwon once to visit friends, and I was bored out of my skull. Good luck.

I recommend making friends with some Koreans, and they'll show you things to do in the city.

I usually head on over to obriens bar www.obriens-bar.com for some fun but I figure you might have tried that already...

*What do i do on days off
-drink some beers and meet friends
-got watch the basketball or soccer at the stadium on game days www.lgsakers.com or www.gyeongnamfc.com
-climb the mountains around Changwon
-go to the movies at either Lotte, CGV(next to Homeplus) or Megaline
-take trips into busan(buses go every 12 minutes from the bus station cost is 4300 won)
-get on a random bus and go anywhere
-go across to Jinhae(buses 155, 752 are good ones - 1500 won)
- rode my scooter(when i had one) at the back of changwon into the countryside
-go do some gambling at the velodrome - it is a laugh
there are some ideas...

Everywhere is what you make of it, that is all i can say...there is lots to do if you take the time to look.
