HEHE. Keep in mind that I did not buy it for its' "looks". Rather, for its ability to circulate air and to cool the case. That big A$$ fan on the side will blast the pooty off of the innards!
I am also buying a 5.25" cooling bay for the top of the case too. Basically, you guys are wondering, "man, what is with THIS dude and cooling". Well, I am gearing up for the summer.
The case should be here tomorrow. I'll install everything then. Will let you know how it goes, and, will take pictures!

Thos fans might be big but how much air do they move?
I've seen whose cases in Busan and they are like less then 600 rpms they would barely hold a piece of paper with their CFM movement. I rather buy a good case with goo sealed negative case pressure.. It will solve all you problems.. Blowing in is no where as effective as sucking out air. Unless u have an equal CFM movement in either direction. If you want air movement go with a case that is made for servers. |

I am not sure as to what the CFM rating is. However, I just plugged everything in and that bitch makes my hair move back. I stuck my hand a good 2 feet away and I could still feel the air moving. It's, I would say, just as strong, if not stronger than my 2 120mm ball bearing case fans. It's great.
My old case would hold a sustained temp. of 40 to 41 degrees celcius. With this new case and the fan blowing on high, it is maintaining at 33-34 degrees celcius. It's awesome. |

I like this one...
I like your case, CL, but I have some reservations about the airflow. I suppose with that monster fan, one can't really lose, but I prefer a better design as opposed to throwing massive fans at the problem.
Lian Li have designed the case to have the mainboard inverted with a cooling solution aimed directly at the CPU. The same for the graphics card; it has it's own cooler, in a sense. The inversion creates a 'smarter' flow of air, more suitably directed to solve the problems of heat.
The PSU is at the bottom of the case, completely separated from the rest of the system. Double filtered fans are a nice touch. Quick clips for the HDDS (8 in total can fit) and ODDs (5), lots of room inside.
Lian Li are a bit expensive (225,000 for this one), but they are worth it. Really, they have to be seen to be believed. All aluminum, fine finishing and an extremely well-planned design are all typical of Lian Li. Put the CPU in a better place, give the hot GPU it's own cooling area and get the PSU almost completely out of the picture. |

that case is nice. I like the way it is set up.
Have no fear, my case (like you said, with that monster fan aiming directly at the video card and CPU). HAHA. OOps, forgot to mention, I have another area where air is blowing out...from the side next to the harddrive. This thing is great...i am really happy I switched. |
