So I bought a new PC to take the place of my crappy little laptop (I like my online games, so the laptop didnt cut it) ... and now because of an Illness, I have to return home at the end of my contract in 7 weeks rather than continue on to another job.
I know very little about PCs other than turning them on and using them ... so my new PC was bought based on the specs sent to me by my brother.
I am cutting and pasting the specs I have from my Control Panel, which I hope are enough information to give you an idea of the PC itself. I bought it for just over 1 Mil won (but am not going to bother with specifics) .. and would be willing to offer it for $600,000.
If the specs arent enough detail, I will try and get more info from a fellow teacher.
They are as follows:

Pentium (R) D CPU 3.40GZ
1.00GB RAM

Flat screen, 19 " (taken from diagonal corners, if thats the right term)

So dont laugh at the fact Im not a PC guru .. just accept the fact you are getting a PC for half price, and as much as I want to keep it, I just cant.

Any other info you want, or if you ARE a PC guru and can help me find out any other info people might want, PLEASE help me out and send me an IM.

Im in Bundang .. and pick up would be necessary.

Thanks.

That's a dual core machine. Not the new Core2 model, but still plenty of good CPU power for about everything.

Hey thanks very much for the idea of shipping. I had thought that PCs were just too easily damaged to even consider sending it home.

if you ship it home, pull the hard drive out, pack it in your bag (using your clothes as ample padding) and ship the rest.

hard drives can be damaged when they're moved. a small knock can sometimes be enough to corrupt your memory. also make sure you backup your essential files first, just in case!

get a friend who knows computers to pull the hard drive out and teach you how to put it back in ... it's only 4 screws and 2 cables holding it in there.

but it's a fairly good computer ... shipping it home is a good option.
