I also went to a Roger Waters concert where the guy next to me wanted to get funky to "Goodbye Blue Sky".

One time about ten years ago I DJed a swing night when that music was the fad. I was playing some good old Big Band music, when this couple asked me "Can you play something fast?" I told them the next song queued up was one of the fastest songs I had. It was by Woody Herman. They just stood on the dancefloor staring at each other impatiently. Someone else requested Minnie the Moocher by Cab Calloway, a song with no consistent dance rhythm, so I played that. The two morons danced to that one.
