My husband and I were offered a stellar amount of money at Paju English Village but the contract seems to imply a certain kind of gross corporatism--3 days off if your child dies, or 7 days for a parent, for example. Can I hear from folks who have worked at this particular campus. A lot of the posts I've read on it are secondhand but I'd like to know the positive and negative from insiders.

haven't worked there, but i have a copy of the paju ev contract since i did some curriculum development work for them in the exhibition hall.

that clause is straight out of korean law, and something all employers must abide by, but frequently don't bother to state in writing.
