I'm just curious. The last time I got my ARC (2003) it took approcimately 1-2 weeks and I had to go back to immi to pick it up. This time it took only 2 days. I went to immi on Monday morning and it was delivered to my school by mail this morning. Has the process been sped up/streamlined or did I just get lucky? |

They've probably still have you on record, which makes the process quicker.
The first time round they probably had to do a more thorough check on stuff but this time, they know you've been, so most things will be known to them already.
Last time I lost my ARC, it took me 15 mins to replace it |

Thanks I hadn't thought about that, but it makes sense. My boss and I both were very surprised when it was delivered today. I'm happy that I have it now, I can do things without having to whip out the passport and then having to write my address, it's all there for the reading. At my last school it took the boss 6-7 weeks before we went to immi to get the first one. This school one week. So far so good |

It took about a week to get my first card and a couple days for my second. |
