| I really would like to get a haircut, preferably by some one who will speak a little English and will do a decent job, in Seoul of course. I've tried searching for past posts but they're all relatively old and I don't feel any more well informed. Nothing fancy for me, just a women's hair cut, no highlights or special treatments. anyone got some solid recomendations? My hairs just long, straight and fine so nothing too complicated. |

Either you can go with a bilingual friend or just point to some things in the hair style catalogs. I would say Korea has decent hair stylists for the money.
Perms are only $50 bucks here. |

Most hairdressers will give you a good cut - it's not too difficult if you don't speak ANY Korean.
Whatever you do though don't go to the guy above Burger King in Itaewon, he's terrible. |

| If you're willing to pay a little more (like 25,000won), go to Headrush near Sangsu subway station. All the stylists there trained in London, so all have great english! Ive been going to them for a year. No complaints. They'll give you exactly what you want. They have a website so just google them. |

Is it? I went there once and their cut was pretty untidy. Overal didn't get very professional feeling over there. There are some other good hairshops in Hongdae though. Lee Chuil Hairkerr is a one. |
