Does it NOT seem logical to think that the price of beef would drop in alberta when mad cow cases are made public?

No they will go up.

Beef will have to be dropped out of the supply line, more then demand will drop.

the supply chain is slower to react than popular opnion sways

my dad stocks up the freezer with cheap beef during every mad cow scare

he says prices dip for a few weeks and then go back up to where they were before
