When does the yellow dust start again? Like, in a couple of weeks? |

Couldn't find exactly when, and as loathe as I am to link to galbijim, because that chronicpride fecker is a wanker, here is what they have to say about it. (not that you didn't already know this).

Hwangsa (황사, 黃沙) is the yellow dust which blows into Korea several times each Spring. It originates in the Gobi Desert and in areas of China just to the south of the Gobi - areas in the process of desertification. Spring of 2002 and 2006 had particularly bad storms. The yellow dust seems to affect the western part of Korea more. |
I seem to remember it creeping in around April, but I could be wrong. |

One of my students said we are already getting it, but I don't really believe her. |

I heard it was due to start just about anytime now. Checking Naver, it's supposed to be more than the average year and with largest amounts in April. Temperatures are about 6 to 7 degrees more than normal too. That's kind of weird. |

Nothing much. It's just random grudge talk lingering from the Shawner fights and other forum politics that only about 30 of us from the different sites got involved with. |

Yep, already saw them showing it on the news for this year. This should be the worst year ever for it. Actually, they even showed a sky shot of Seoul with all the yellow dust. |

That's what I thought. I thought I was just imagining it.
I assume it contributes to allergy suffering? I don't suffer from allergies but my new coworker does. Has anyone had any experience with this part of it? Was it exceptionally bad for you? |
