here in Wonju. Usually, we are colder than most parts of Korea. Anyone else experiencing this wonderful weather (well, besides the rain)?

Yes. I can tell by the difference from last year to this, that global warming is a big problem.

It's gonna drop down again in the next few days. It hasn't felt any different to other winters I've spent in Korea.

In the southern part of the penninsula it's been so much milder than last year. I was dreading this winter so much, especially with my relatively large but poorly insulated house, but I haven't had to use the heaters nearly as much this year.

Do you really think we might be in the clear re: really cold weather?

Seoul is frighteningly warm, although there's a low cloud cover.

I think this winter (where I am in the south) is much milder than last winter.

But its because of Elninio - so my Korean colleagues keep telling me?
They said that to me last year too though!!? Confused

All I know is that there was a 60+ degree temperature (farenheit) difference between here and Minnesota earlier this week. I emailed my Dad telling him I was eating icecream outside without a coat while he was telling me that the high was going to be -20 F back home... crazy. I hope things thaw out back home before I go back in a few.
