But I thought all Americans were trigger happy gun nuts! These chillens must have grown up north of the Mason-Dixon line.

So what's your troll gimmick? You're a Russian prostitute dreaming of a visa amayreekkkan, but in the meanwhile you'll keep busy expressing your frustration by exhibiting the political prowess of a 14 year old white American suburbanite Hot Topic punk rawker anarchist?

Actually, these guys did nothing wrong. They actually took care of the problem pretty quickly because they were following proper procedure. If you've ever shot an M16-type, you'd know they malfunction quite often, especially if they weren't properly cleaned, get gummed up with dirt or sand, or the bullets weren't properly loaded in the clip.

You actually see two different malfunctions. I'm pretty sure the guy on the right got a feed malfunction on his first shot (you can tell because the 'dust cover' was still closed on the side and pops open) because the bullets were packed to tightly in the clip for the bolt carrier to load the first one in the chamber (he actually did everything right, despite the teasing) (the problem is easily prevented by loading one bullet less in the clip). Not too sure what happens with the guy on the left, but it looks like he first gets a spent round in the chamber that won't eject, clears it, and then he gets a feed malfunction because the bullets aren't properly aligned, so the bolt carrier can't latch on to them. This would have caused the original malfunction because the round wouldn't have been loaded properly in the chamber (notice how he takes out the clip and pushes back the round to remedy the problem).

In other words, they knew exactly what they were doing.

Watch yourself.

It's only been a little over a decade for some of us. And some of us just learned what we're talking about and have about the same ideas.

No, they suck. Typical REMF slackers with an inability to properly maintain and utilize their equipment. That stupid camera woman won't be laughing when her mates are getting ripped apart by tangos wearing sneakers who do know how to use their weapons.

Well which is it? Have some of you learned what you're talking about or do you have the same 14 year old punk rawker with mommy and daddy's credit card anarchist ideas?

Seems to me that they are mutually exclusive.

Sure, it appears they don't know how to maintain their weapons, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because in my experience M16s are overly 'delicate' and 'quirky'. Besides, I was just pointing out that they knew how to handle them, which the OP and the person who posted that video suggested that they didn't.

Double feeds are common with M-16's and are one of the very few things that drill sergeants don't seem to tear into trainees about during the first weeks. After some time though, a soldier needs to know how to correct it ASAP.

Hilarious!

For some contrast.. we should look at some of the Eastern Bloc militaries. Those guys were exceptionally well-trained and perfectly equipped and cost efficient. I miss the Soviet Union.. The good old days when the Evil American Empire was kept in Czech, I mean, kept in check by those caring and freedom loving Soviets. Without the Soviet Union as our model, our economics and political systems have just gone down the crapper.

Just curious.. Wouldn't an anarchist meeting be an oxymoron?

Too bad the US Congress has a law requiring a quota for military weapons being US made. An MP5 would be much more fun.
