Seriously?

My first reaction was that it was a dig on stupid homophobic straight guys.

Not to mention, really freakin' funny...

Actually, I thought it was pretty hot, until they had to pretend they didn't like their little moment of heaven.

Pretty dumb commercial. Not homophobic, doesn't make me want to buy snickers.

The target audience and largest consumer group of this product is the lower (blue-collar) socio-economic class. This economic group is famous for it's absolute refusal to accept homosexuality and anything remotely associated with it. This ad just reinforces that behavior and so is successful in it's attempt to gain favor and stature with it's target audience.

Others may laugh and scoff but the middle and upper classes do not purchase Snickers bars normally, their opinon really doesn't bother the company that made this ad.

I couldn't believe what I was watching. Someone actually thought that was funny? It was like something out of a grade 8 boys comedy bit. But even worse, far worse, was the supplemental ads with the NFL players watching the commercial and reacting to it. All these jocks having to act shocked that two guys accidentally kissed. Pathetic. Reminds me of when hicks from the country come to the big city and are shocked when they see homosexuals, make a joke, but soon realize the joke is on them, that we're not living in 1955 hicksville anymore in the big city.
