I was talking to a couple of other geeks about internet connection speeds at the get together last night, and said I would post a link to a test. Here it is....

| Mine is plenty slower than that. I can't even watch a youtube video on my computer without it buffering about every 7 seconds, it is absolutely pathetic. Slowest internet ever. |

Too all over the place to be useful, maybe.
Six tests to Yokohama, the slowest (and last) download speed was 1987 kbps, but the fastest (and first) was over 6000 kbps. Upload? It WILL NOT UPLOAD AT ALL to Yokohama. In all six tests it just stalled without doing the upload test. Though it will upload, right after completing the download test, to every other server I've tried.  |
