What do we think?

Is Korea going to be one of the 'safer' places to live when it all kicks off this or next year?

Ever heard of North Korea? Koreans are so used to NK's threat by now, but I don't think this applies for foreigners also.

I'm thinking that Korea is not going to be a particularly safe place to be, if the missiles do start flying...but how do you figure this year or next is the kick-off for WW Three? It doesn't seem much more likely now than it did at any other point recently.
A wider war in the middle east, sure, that might well happen, but I don't think China is in any rush to get into a big fracas; nor are Japan, India, or any of the European nations. Russia, well, who knows what the hell they're up to...but I don't see a profit for anybody, so I don't figure it's particularly likely. Lots of little regional wars, but a truly global one? Naaah.
I hope.

a new war, that would involve multiple nations, is not likely to occur in east asia. if it did it would basically be the last war ever -involving nuke exchanges between china/russia and the united states.

in contrast, an expansion of the war in the middles east, that would include, iran, syria, lebannon, israel is quite possible in the current climate.
and should such a horrid thing happen, the continent the war would most liekly expand to would not be asia, but the region strategically important for its resources...africa.

it also helps that the western nations, including russia and china, have little regard for any collateral damage that would occur by war in either region, as opposed to if a war should rage in asia or europe (you know, where all the ira's and hedge funds are tied up).

Seriously, you must be on drugs to hate Americans. Don't you think it would be 100 times more appropriate to say you hate Bush?

As a Canadian with thousands of Canadian friends, I can say the demi does not speak for very many Canadians.

if you'd posted this a few months ago when NK tested the bomb, it would have made sense. Why post it now? Things are looking up.

I didn't even know Korea had bid to host WW3. They must've bribed somebody to get it though.

They're not going to have to co-host it with Japan, are they?
