I'm curious about getting a tax refund. My past two employers just gave me a sheet of paper listing my deductions for the tax year and an amount that I would get back as a refund. Then that refund money was added to my next month's pay. I asked my current boss about this and he said it is my responsibility to do this.
Has anyone had any experience doing this? Is it my responsibility to do this, or is my boss just lying to me so he won't have to do extra work? If it is my responsibility, when is the tax preparation time in Korea? I don't want to miss out on getting my refund! If I remember correctly it was somehwere in the 100-200,000 won range! |

I guess you could ask some of the people getting money back...

My friend's tax refund is simple... today his boss admitted to never paying his withheld tax (100K/mo) to the tax office. So it looks like he'll just be getting an extra envelope soon. No paperwork! |
