That was one of the more douchbaggy efforts at conveying an emotion on a msgsite I've ever seen. Are you writing a play?

(sighs)
I guess we have a new troll.

Yes? No? I don't know.

Back to the op.

I was in Bangkok on NYE day and was sitting in the hotel watching tv. They had a Russian channel that was in English and I was blown away at the paranoia oozing out of it. Every story was on the "western media" and how this media was distorting how democratic and friendly Russia is. It was just bizarre. The dude, who spoke with an Ontario Canadian accent (weird) said that there was ZERO ethnic violence in the Russian territory.

I think that Russians, and the Russian government live in a bit of a nationalistic bubble. Maybe we can start to use the term fascist now? I've seen it creeping into the discourse of Putin's Russia.

sometimes I think you ask good questions and some replies you receive are revealing.

That being said, this sarcasm is rudimentary, unoriginal, and straight out of the Octavius Hite, EFLTrainer, Dd, et al playbook.

Is the war on terror real? Do share.

We're not talking about 'the war on terror'. Hell, we're not even supposed to be talking about the cold war. And, for the record, I did mention the Korean war.

I gave what I think would have to be considered fairly tangible and concrete examples of how the cold war 'was a real thing'.
