No no...not a male lover....but a smoke!! I quit 4 days ago and I'd do nearly anything for a good British smoke (not a fag) right now!! Former smokers who share the craving...post here!!

I quit 8 months ago...

It will all be over soon. The physical withdrawal is terrible, but it is quickly over.

It was the best decision I've ever made. I sleep better, don't smell, am more happy, concentrate better, have more money and don't smell!

Keep at it. Only a few more days and you will be free forever!

I quit about 3 months ago. Feel great now and rarely think about it. Been hitting the gym, it's great not to get the burn in my lungs when I run more than a couple km.
Your first test will come when you have your first beer. Let us know how that goes. If you can get through your first drunk without lighting up, you'll find yourself feeling a lot better about your chances of kicking the habit for good. That's what worked for me.
Good luck with it!

I just smoke when I'm drinking. I figured I would lose that battle and just accepted it with conditions.

My rule is that I never bring them home. It hasn't been a problem so far. I only go out about once or twice a month, though. Smoking on a drunk night doesn't cause me to crave the next day.
