I just want to be anywhere but here (Incheon), so I was looking at going to Busan. Is there anything down there worth visiting and taking photos? Would like to get into the culture a bit more if its any different to Soeul.

| If you were thinking of taking the train, good luck. They've been booked out for ages now. |

Hiring a car might be an idea, depending on how long you're planning to stay. That way, you can go to a few other places, like Andong (Hahoe-maeul and Gyongju and get more of a rewarding cultural experience. |

They are having activites to celebrat the New Year at the Korean Folk Village near Youngin, that's where I was going to go.
But, TT, That sounds interesting. Where did you hear about that? More info please.

I called them to ask and the instructions I got were:
Go to Ansan station on line 4
the station only has one exit so go out that (i wonder if thats true?)
Go across the street and keep walking straight
Walk towards the busy street with many shops
and the lady said I should be able to see the signs after that.
hope that helps somewhat. |

Lol, that sounds like a good time. Much better than studying non-stop for a calculus midterm. |

| Going anywhere by car, bus, or train would be a disaster this weekend, unless you want to spend 15 hours on the road. Stick with the public subway system. There are plenty of places to go that aren't far away. If it's not raining, climb Gwanaksan or go to Hwaseong Fortress. |
