|
|
I've searched Daves and can't find a related post and though about starting one.
There are numerous posts on day to day/survival Korean that deal with mainly buying things and surviving outside work. But non to help within the work place.
Having recently moved jobs I have found myself not only the sole foreigner in my school but also surrounded by Korean teachers whose English level is pretty low to non-existent I feel the need for this thread.
Many of my recent "little" stressed moments have come from break downs in communication and thought it could be helpful to me and others if these moments could be averted in the future by a little help from those in the know.
So I would like help on the following translations into Korean:
What is the schedule for today/this week/month?
What is happening?
What did he/she say (about me)?
When does vacation start/finish?
Is the school closed?
Do I have classes?
My washing machine/TV/fridge is broken?
How do I work the printer/photocopier?
What kind of restaurant are we going to?
Can you please explain this?
Can you please translate this?
What do you think?
No thank you! (if offered food/snacks)
Please can you tell me in advance of any changes to my schedule!
Thank you for any help you give on this.
I hope it is used by others who would like help and by those who can give help too. |

Is the school closed?
학교가 끝났나요?
